Stone Paving Supplies Ltd is a company registered in England under company number 08847430.
Delays and Liability
We are not liable for any delay or additional costs resulting from strikes, accidents, equipment breakdowns, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Complaints
If you need to make a complaint about goods or services, please notify us in writing within 7 days of delivery to site.
Specifications
Goods will be supplied as per our written quotation and in line with industry-standard specifications for that product type. No additional or implied specification will apply beyond what is stated.
Defects and Limitations of Liability
If goods are found to be defective and we agree with your assessment, our liability is limited to free-of-charge replacement only. We strongly advise inspecting all materials before installation, as we accept no liability for costs relating to removal, re-installation, or any indirect loss due to delay, part delivery, or misdelivery.
Delivery Access
We do not deliver over unsuitable ground. If a delivery vehicle leaves a hard surface at the customer's request, the customer accepts full responsibility for any damage or accidents, and the goods are at the customer’s risk.
Delivery Times
Delivery times are estimates. While we do our best to meet agreed dates, we cannot accept liability for any losses resulting from late or missed deliveries.
Unloading and Waiting Time
Customers are responsible for unloading goods. A maximum of one hour is allowed on site; additional time will be charged at our standard rate.
Bespoke Goods and Refused Deliveries
If bespoke goods are refused or delivery is not accepted, we reserve the right to charge for transport costs and the full order value.
Ownership and Risk
(i) Goods remain our property until full payment is received. (ii) If the customer sells goods not yet paid for, they do so as our agent. (iii) We may enter your premises to recover unpaid goods. Risk in the goods passes to the customer upon delivery.
Credit and Payment
We reserve the right to refuse supply based on credit assessment. Standard payment terms are 30 days from the end of the month of delivery. Late payment may result in all outstanding invoices becoming immediately due and interest charged at 2.5% per month.
Natural Product Disclaimer
Natural stone varies in colour and texture. Samples are indicative only. We recommend viewing several pieces together before ordering. Porcelain colours may vary slightly between batches. Products must be inspected before laying – we do not accept liability for the cost of lifting and relaying.
Cancellations After Dispatch
Cancelled deliveries after dispatch will incur full haulage costs and 25% of the goods’ value.
Product Discontinuation
We reserve the right to discontinue any product without prior notice as part of our commitment to continuous improvement.
Variations to Terms
Any changes to these terms must be agreed in writing by a Director of Stone Paving Supplies Ltd.
Instalment Deliveries
We may deliver in instalments. Each instalment is treated as a separate transaction. Delay or failure in one instalment does not entitle the customer to cancel others or withhold payment.
Jurisdiction
All contracts are governed by English Law. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the English Courts.
Product Composition and Safety
Our products are made from natural materials such as sandstone, limestone, slate, granite, and marble. These are inert and non-hazardous. However, handling may carry risks due to weight, sharp edges, or strapping.
Usage Precautions
Wear protective gloves and footwear when handling. Use good lifting techniques and appropriate PPE when cutting. Be cautious of tensioned straps and sharp fragments. Always inspect and handle with care.
Storage Guidelines
Store products on suitable ground. Do not stack pallets more than two high unless specifically advised.
Disposal
Dispose of stone, strapping, and wrapping in line with local authority guidelines for non-hazardous materials.
